If I ever took a break from this blog, the smart money had me guarding against hubris. Well, I do need a break, and nobody who sees me on a day-to-day basis right now would call me hubristic.
This is the spot for me. Hollywood is where I need to be. I’m not leaving.
But this narrative can’t continue to be about the journey. It needs to be about what happens when you get there. If you read regularly (and more people do than I ever could have imagined) than you know an exceptional amount about me. You know what happens when an audition comes down the pipe. My scope narrows and I put my whole heart into it. You know that and it isn’t going to change.
But what happens when I walk onto a film set? You don’t know the answer there because I’m failing as an actor in the one place it really counts. The spot where real life and artistic dreams intersect.
You can’t have the latter without complimenting the former. You just can’t.
I’m going to make it. I’ve never been more determined.
The verbal preamble has tipped over 35,000 words. 35,000 is enough.
When I have news, I’ll be back.
Millions of people tune in to see the Gosselins and to watch fat people lose weight too…doesn’t mean you’re interesting….the combination of arrogance, conceit and exhibitionism is just too much for some people to resist….
